Dr. Dmitri Lapotko to Present Breakthrough Research on Plasmonic Nanobubbles at ICPOC 2026

The 2ndEdition of the International Cancer and Precision Oncology Conference (ICPOC2026) is pleased to welcome Dr. Dmitri Lapotko, Doctor of Science at Scorpido Photonics, Inc., United States, as a distinguished speaker.

An internationally recognized expert in biophotonics, nanotechnology, and plasmonics, Dr. Lapotko has pioneered innovative approaches that combine laser physics, engineering, and medicine to advance cancer diagnostics and treatment.

Presentation Title

Non-Stationary External Energy Mechanisms in Cancer Diagnostics and Treatment

About the Session

Cancer diagnosis and treatment are entering a new era where external energy, rather than conventional drugs alone, can be used to precisely identify and eliminate diseased cells.

In this groundbreaking presentation, Dr. Lapotko will introduce the science behind laser-generated plasmonic nanobubbles—microscopic energy events created within targeted cells that enable highly accurate diagnostics and therapeutic interventions.

By integrating physics, nanotechnology, and biology, this technology provides rapid, targeted, and minimally invasive solutions while reducing damage to healthy tissues.

Key Learning Points

  • Understanding plasmonic nanobubbles and non-stationary plasmonics
  • Laser-based cellular diagnostics and therapy
  • Precision destruction of aggressive cancer cells
  • Cell-level medicine powered by external energy
  • Integration with artificial intelligence and robotics
  • Applications in cancer diagnostics and biopsy
  • Microsurgery, endoscopy, and targeted drug delivery
  • Future directions for precision oncology

About Dr. Dmitri Lapotko

Dr. Dmitri Lapotko earned his M.S. in Thermal Physics and Ph.D. in Laser Defense Applications from Belarus State University, followed by a Doctor of Science in Bioengineering from the A.V. Lykov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute.

His pioneering research led to the invention of laser-generated plasmonic nanobubbles, establishing an entirely new platform for cancer diagnostics, therapy, microsurgery, and targeted drug delivery.

Dr. Lapotko's work has laid the scientific foundation for non-stationary plasmonics and nanophotonics, and his contributions are comprehensively presented in his book, "Plasmonic Nanobubbles: From Physics to Clinics."

His innovations continue to shape the future of precision medicine by enabling rapid, highly selective, and minimally invasive cancer treatments.
